Michael Whyte, DDS

Dentist & Founder

Dr. Michael Whyte is a native of Utah and Washington State. He received bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and Economics from Utah State University. He graduated from VCU School of Dentistry in 2013 and completed comprehensive Conscious Sedation Training and Certification in 2015.

Dr. Whyte’s passion for dentistry is centered in quality work, making connections with people, and alleviating any patients’ fear or anxiety of dental procedures. His key goal is to help his patients keep their teeth for a lifetime.

An avid believer of health and fitness, he enjoys rock climbing, camping, kayaking, hiking, and beachcombing. He especially enjoys doing these activities with his two daughters and his son, who are each equally adventurous.

Dr. Whyte is very personable and optimistic. He loves to laugh and often tells “dad jokes” while he works. He genuinely believes in the power of positivity to overcome obstacles, and in serving each of his patients with care and expertise.

Diane

Practice Manager

Diane is a native Richmonder, she and her husband Frankie have been married 32 years. They have twins, a boy and a girl. She started out as a pediatric dental assistant and has worked in the dental field for over 30 years. Diane enjoys spending time with her family and loves to exercise, especially working out at Pure Barre.

Christine, RDH BSDH

Assistant Practice Manager, Whitening Specialist, Dental Hygienist

Christine attended Virginia Commonwealth University for her undergraduate studies, majoring in forensic science and Arabic. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at the VCU School of Dentistry in 2010. She received the Colgate STAR Award and has written several oral health articles, published in YourHealth magazine.

She has been with this practice for almost eight years and absolutely loves her profession. She sees hygiene patients at our office full time and also does our permanent in-office teeth whitening. In addition to her career, she also has a passion for fitness and enjoys working out at Orange Theory, almost every day.

In her free time, Christine travels the world on standby, thanks to her flight attendant sister. If you have Christine as your hygienist be sure to ask why she chose dental hygiene as her profession, which actually happened by chance!

Dental Hygienist

Emily graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at the VCU School of Dentistry in 2017. She received the prestigious Hu- Friedy Golden Scaler Award for clinical excellence. She enjoys helping patients achieve optimal oral hygiene. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to new places. Emily is so sweet and very passionate about her profession. If you have her as your hygienist be sure to ask her about all of her pets!

Anthony, LE

Esthetician & Financial Coordinator

From Chesterfield, VA to Hollywood, CA, Anthony’s personality is sure to improve anyones day. He was a patient of our practice prior to joining our team as the chief financial officer. His favorite aspect of dentistry is being able to help patients breakdown barriers in order to attain the smile they have always wanted. Aside from dental aesthetics, Anthony happens to be a licensed esthetician and specializes in all things skincare. One last fun fact, Anthony is also a former NFL Cheerleader, for the Baltimore Ravens!

Emma, CPT

Phlebotomist & Medical Assistant

Emma has over a decade of experience in all things healthcare. She grew up in sunny Florida and is the sunshine in our office, on a rainy day.
Emma is an extremely talented phlebotomist and medical assistant. Her multifaceted medical background & clinical skills are especially beneficial when working with Dr. Whyte on sedation & implant cases. She’s passionate about helping anxious dental patients and absolutely loves the beach!

Maya, CDA

Dental Assistant

Maya comes to our office with 5 years of dental experience as a dental assistant. She is bilingual, fluent in Arabic and English. She was born and raised in Baghdad and came to the U.S. in 2007. She is passionate about relieving patients’ pain and anxiety. She loves working chairside with Dr. Whyte to help our patients achieve the smile of their dreams. Maya is wonderful and we can’t wait for you to meet her!
